It's My Birthday and I'll Cry If I Want To

It's my birthday tomorrow. Back in my younger days, age never bothered me. I remember my best friend and I were both turning 24, within 2 weeks of each other, and we would always say - Oh, 16 years to 40!! And we would laugh hysterically, knowing that milestone was so far off. Let me tell ya - I passed that milestone a while ago and now there is a new one looming in the distance. Anyway, I am trying not to dwell on it too much. I plan to just focus on the fact that, even though I have to go get my hair colored once a month to cover all the grey feel better about myself, I am lucky to be surrounded everyday by little people with so much energy and enthusiasm for learning. Honestly, it makes me feel younger. And as I get older, the kids in my class get cuter and cuter. Have you noticed this too?

So, in honor of my birthday, I wanted to share a little Christmas freebie with you. I hope you can use it. There's a little bit of addition, a little bit of subtraction and a little bit of Santa. Just give it a click and you're on your way.

As I celebrate my birthday this year, I am so grateful to have met so many amazing teachers through this blog. I thank you all for your kindness and I feel truly blessed to know you.

  9. Happy Happy Birthday Leslie! The years are just going by way too fast, sometimes I actually have to think about how old I am! We are nearly at the end of the school year in Australia and can't believe I have been teaching these kiddoes for a whole year already!
