White Ghost White Ghost

Before I get down to it, I just want to give you a little glimpse into my life. I have a spoiled brat  perfectly lovely dog. For the past 2 years, she has gotten very used to having my daughter home often during the day and she was loving it. But, now that my daughter is in college, our dog has to spend more time alone during the day. She does NOT like this. So, I make a big fuss over her before I leave for school in the morning. She, however, does THIS (check pic below) EVERY morning as I am leaving.

Her eyes are actually open so that she can look at me sadly. Seriously. 

In other news, we have been busy in my first grade class. We read Where's My Mummy and then sequenced the story using Deanna's unit.

And, we just started to work on White Ghost, White Ghost, What Do You See? I made this story about 15 years ago, back in my pre-computer days, where all a teacher could really do was photocopy, cut, then glue. So this is an updated version of the story. There is a black and white section also, for your kids to sequence the story. Here is some of it.
