Her eyes are actually open so that she can look at me sadly. Seriously.
In other news, we have been busy in my first grade class. We read Where's My Mummy and then sequenced the story using Deanna's unit.
And we did some Wizard's Math. Click here if you would like a copy.
Plus, we have been working on our Halloween Centers - Halloween Math Centers - Boo!
And, we just started to work on White Ghost, White Ghost, What Do You See? I made this story about 15 years ago, back in my pre-computer days, where all a teacher could really do was photocopy, cut, then glue. So this is an updated version of the story. There is a black and white section also, for your kids to sequence the story. Here is some of it.
Click on any of the pages for your copy of the story. Aren't you happy it's almost Friday? Yeah, me too.

Aww look at that face!! Your dog is so adorable!! It makes it so hard to leave when they are giving you a look like that. :)

Love this Leslie!!!! I'm going to use it next week!
ReplyDeleteI have to tell you that my golden retriever gives me that same look every morning when I leave the house....breaks my heart.
I don't think I'd be able to leave each morning with those big baby browns looking at me like that! So cute!
ReplyDeleteLove the freebie, too! Thanks, Leslie!

Hi Leslie ! Just discovered your blog, I was looking for some Remembrance Day ideas and found your unit, adorable !!! Just printing it now. I teach Gr. 2 in Ontario, in a small town near Hamilton. Your blog is a lot of fun to explore. Thanks for creating such a lovely Canadian content unit for November.
ReplyDeleteMy daughter went off to U of T this Sept. so I can totally relate to how you (and your furry friend) are feeling.....
ReplyDeleteHi Didi - if you happen to check back here, I would really like to have your e-mail address, it was not listed when I got an e-mail from you. I just wanted the chance to thank you and write you back. And stay in touch with a fellow Canadian teacher:) Hope you are reading this.

Looking forward to a chat !
Oh, your poor little poochie. :) When I got my first teaching job my boxer punished me for being gone during the days by pooping on the floor. That was fun. So, it could be worse than some sad little eyes peeking out at you....She could be leaving you some presents on your carpet. Lol. :)
