Class Rules Freebie

I have been working on classroom rules F-O-R-E-V-E-R. Ok I am exaggerating. But, for a long time. And they are finally ready.  I needed to have them ready for last week because school started on Wednesday. And OH, how I had forgotten the difference between 1st grade in June and 1st grade in August/September. I am being severely reminded with each and every tug on my sleeve, leg, skirt, blouse, shirt, you name it. Whatever they can grab onto.  But, they are oh so cute. I can't even describe the cuteness! I was watching my kids work the other day and I thought to myself - Gosh, they were just babies 6 years ago. Babies! And now, here we are.

So...I have gone over these rules of mine so much the past 3 days, they are tattooed in my brain. Honestly, on Thursday, all we did was practice the rules, practise lining up for fire drills, practise what to do when the timer rings, what to do when the bell rings, what to do at home time. Like you, I am getting routines and procedures down. Maybe, you've already finished that or maybe you're just beginning. In either case, I want to share my classroom rules with you. Here they are...
