Dr. No and the September Currently

I promised, in my last blog post about Class Rules, that I would talk about consequences and Dr. NO. Trust me you have all met Dr. NO. So far, from what I can tell, I have at least one Dr. No in my class. He is, however, trying to gain followers. And I have explained to these potential followers that - Dr. No is not the boss of the class and they need to listen to me because I am, in fact, the boss of the class. So far, it's working.

But, Dr. No LOVES to say no to me. The other day, as we all gathered on the carpet, Dr. No refused
to sit criss cross applesauce and instead lay down on his stomach and would not move. Insert huge sigh here. I chose to ignore him, then proceeded to give him chances to sit properly. He refused. So, I just went on with the business of the day and eventually, he came around.

The only real problem I am having with Dr. No, at this point, is his undeniable cuteness and his need to be loved and accepted. When I think of all that, he just doesn't seem so bad anymore. I am now in full -get him to attach to me- mode. I'll keep you posted.

In the meantime, I'm linking up with Farley for the September Currently. Hope that you had a great, restful, Labor Day weekend.
